Christmas to mid-January is the busiest stretch of the year on the Sunshine Coast, followed by the Easter, winter and spring school holidays. Families plan these months ahead, so the dates that suit most people tend to go first.

A summer holiday that works on foot
In January, street parking on Bulcock Street is its own kind of stress. This apartment has a secure undercover space, and everything else is walkable: the calm water at Bulcock Beach two minutes away, the patrolled surf and ocean pool at Kings Beach, and the cafés, restaurants and supermarket on Bulcock Street. On hot afternoons the Level 12 rooftop pool and spa take over.
