The layout
The main bedroom has a queen bed and its own bathroom. The second bedroom has two single beds that zip together into a king, so it works for kids, teenagers, two friends who would rather not share. The living and dining area is separate from both, so someone can stay up reading while the rest of the apartment sleeps.
The kitchen is a full kitchen - oven, cooktop, dishwasher, full-size fridge - not a kitchenette. There is a washer and dryer in the apartment, which is the difference between packing for four days and packing for two weeks.
